Microaggressions

Microaggressions—those subtle, often unspoken messages that question, dismiss, or invalidate your identity—can be deeply painful, especially when they come from colleagues, friends, or family. Over time, these experiences can erode your confidence, trigger anxiety, and leave you feeling unseen or unsafe. In therapy, I offer a supportive, affirming space where LGBTQ+ clients can process the emotional impact of microaggressions and begin to reclaim their voice. Together, we can explore how these moments have affected your sense of self, develop strategies for setting boundaries, and build resilience in navigating relationships and environments that don’t always get it right. You deserve to feel respected, empowered, and fully yourself—in every area of your life.
