đ National Coming Out Day means many things. For some, itâs joy and relief. For others, itâs complicated, risky, or not yet. All of that is valid.
Coming out isnât a test of courage or ârealness.â Itâs a choice about safety, timing, and trust. Youâre allowed to move at your pace, with your people. âComing outâ can also look like coming inâtelling one trusted friend, wearing the thing that feels like you, using your name in your journal. Micro-yeses count.
If today brings celebrationâbeautiful. If it brings grief or pressure, youâre not alone. Your worth isnât measured by who knows. You are already complete.
A few gentle prompts:
- Who feels like exhale in your life?
- What would a 1% step towards authenticity look like this week?
- If safety is a concern, whatâs your planâwho youâd call, where youâd go, what helps your body settle?
Whether youâre out, in, questioning, or somewhere in betweenâyour story is yours to hold and to share when itâs right.
If talking it through would help, I offer a free 15-minute online introduction session to see if weâre a good fit.
