On Saturday I popped down to Sackville Gardens to have some fun at Sparkle Weekend. For those who don’t know, Sparkle Weekend is a free, family-friendly festival in Manchester, celebrating diversity and the trans, non binary and gender non-conforming community. Sparkle Weekend is organised by ‘Sparkle’ – The National Trans charity. It was great fun, lots of live music, entertainment and stalls. If you didn’t get a chance to go to Sparkle Weekend this time, there’s always next year.
